Different processes exist for the finishing of plastics: • Bell / Gun process Is the reference all over Europe for color match: First layer is applied with bell sprayer, Second layer – named dusting - is made with spray gun. • Bell/bell process :: Advantage : Increases significantly the T.E in the dusting zone :: Has been used in Asia and the USA for years :: Considerably reduces booth dirtying :: Lessens mechanical robot fatigue : Simpler paths and slower tip speeds.
Reduction of the materials consumptions The third level of evolution permitting to achieve paint savings: it combines reduction of paint consumption and increase of efficiency of spraying. The Sames Accu Technology is the answer to this demand from the plastic industry: Whether spraying water based or solvent based materials, Accubell/Accugun and the fast colour changing station Accuspeed offer the opportunity to work with large numbers of colours. The plastic industry suffers from huge losses of paints and solvents during their colour changes. With the Accu Technology by Sames , they now have at their disposal a solution to change that , WITHOUT BEING LIMITED IN THEIR NUMBER OF COLOURS. The Accu Technology limits the waste of materials to 20cc max during one colour change.
Description of SAMES "Accu" solutions :: Accu technology allows application of waterborne paints with the highest transfer efficiency possible : it answers to high productivity need coming from the demanding industrial manufacturers, offering the best technical solution. :: Accu fills its canister with 500 or 800cc of paint. After the atomizer has been disconnected from the filling station, HV is applied to the paint which is then isolated. The paint is then ready to be dispensed, application is improved thanks to direct HV charge. :: The installation is of the « clean wall » type , outside of the booth ; no tubes, no color changers inside, reducing the potential for malfunctions , and easing up maintenance accessibility The Sames Accu solutions permit to achieve substantial materials savings.
